Katarina Maricic and Anton Sokolic's wedding picture

They had a son, Ranko, (Branko b 28 Aug 1928 in Novi) who was 4 or 5 when they emigrated to Argentina. They had two daughters, Elvira and Margarita, in Argentina, as well as another son, Antonio.

Ranko (7/01) recalls: "Te cuento una anecdota: cuando yo era niño y cuando vivía en Novi, yo juntaba cangrejos para que mi abuelo Antonio pueda pescar pulpos en un muelle donde encallaban los barcos de pequeño calado. Yo nací el 28 de agosto de 1928, en Novi y emigramos con mi mamá Katerina (Catalina) en en el mes de noviembre de 1933. Mi papá estaba en Argentina desde principios de 1928, cuando mi mamá estaba embarazada. Espero volver a comunicarme con vos."

Margarita is married to Edgar, their children Gabriela and Antonio, Alejandra and Dante, Maria and Juán, Andrés, their grandchildren Gaby, Virgi, Anto and Joaquin, Nacho and Tomy, and Mateo. Sadly, a web scan noticed a funeral notice in a paper dated March 2, 2008--exact dates are being sought.

MI nombre es Andres Tonelli, soy hijo de Margarita Rosa Socolich nieto de Antonio Socolich y Catalina Marich.

Yo vivo en San Miguel de Tucuman, ubicada en el Norte de La Republica Argentina, Por medio de mi trabajo encotre su pagina en Internet pero no se puede ver las fotos, Yo trabajo en el INTA ( Instituto Nacional de Tecnologia Agrapecuaria). Se ve que la familia es grande. Si hay posibilidad de conocernos seria muy lindo, nosotros los concocemos por fotos que llegaron a Añatuya por medio de mi Tio Ranko.

Antonio and his wife _____________ have five children, 3 girls and two boys; they are Cecilia, ___________, ____________, Silvina, and _____________.

Silvina was born 29 November 1975. She lives in Añatuya, Santiago del Estero, Argentina, and is a final year medical student at the University of Santiage del Estero, majoring in obstetrics.

I´m Iván Francisco Sokolic Montoya, peruvian, 22 years old grandson of Vladimir Sokolic Maricic He died on 1983 at Tumbes - Perú certainly he lived there since arrived with a group of partners to Perú, other group went to Argentina
